By Meagan Smith

It's not a secret that if you are getting marry it can be very stressful if you are doing it all yourself. But we understand that in order to save money this is necessary. The very first thing you would need to do is pick a date and set yourself a budget, that budget is important because it can change depending on the time of the year or place you are getting marry. During high season when a lot of people are getting marry a wedding can be very expensive because demand is high, which is why it's recommended you plan ahead and give yourself at least 6 months to plan everything.

The guest list is the next big obstacle to tackle, the size of your wedding will also depend on the budget you have and the place the ceremony will take place. You also have to make the decision whether the wedding will be a civil or religious event. Be sure to reserve the event site well in advanced.

Choosing the food that will be served at the ceremony is important because it also depends on the place where the ceremony will be held, basically it depends entirely on what kind of wedding celebration you are looking for and that could mean like an outdoor buffet, set menu, etc. Sometimes the best option is to hire a catering company to take care of the whole thing.

Try to decide the theme of the wedding, essential when choosing the dress, flowers decoration, hairstyle, gifts ... for the wedding to be the most perfect possible must be cutting corners. Take the time to review and research as much as you can about each aspect of your costs and hiring the right people so you have a clear budget in mind.

The one thing you should keep in mind is that things don't always go as plan and that's ok. Remember your wedding day is supposed to be a day of happiness not of worrying about whether the flowers will arrive. It's always recommended to seek help in friends and family who might have experience planning a ceremony.
